生平
White 出于在洛杉矶，在五个孩子的家庭里排行最末。曾演唱于教堂唱诗班，也曾当过配唱歌手，后来参予演唱 Jeff Lorber 的单曲 "Facts of Love" 。据记录，她毕业于 Howard University。
White 在 1992 年与 Terry Lewis 结婚，有一个女儿名叫 Ashley Nicole。离婚后，她嫁给吉他手 Bobby G。
她目前定居于 Sacramento, California ，经营一个成功的内部装饰公司。2006 年她录制了一张新专辑，名为 Sista Sista；原定于 2006 年发行，但后被搁置。这张专辑里的两首歌 "All I Do" 及 "Disconnected", 后收录于精选辑 the Best-Of compilation Superwoman: The Best.
职业生涯
White 的首张同名专辑发行于 1988年，由L.A. Reid 和 Babyface 制作。此张专辑收录单曲"The Way You Love Me", "Secret Rendezvous" (全美排名第六，也是她当时的最好成绩), "Superwoman" 以及与 Babyface 合唱的 "Love Saw It".
